Sales Position


Position: Business Development / Sales

Location: Remote; Los Angeles Area

NIC is a well-established MSP (IT Managed Service Provider) delivering Cybersecurity, Cloud Hosting, Backup and Disaster Recovery services to clients here in the LA area and nationwide. We service clients in all industries, including Financial, Legal, Healthcare and more. As a trusted managed service provider, we bring a mix of Managed IT services, security, and network connectivity, fully managed by our team of experts 24/7/365. We strive to help our clients and their companies function better, faster, and smarter. We are rapidly growing and are looking to bring someone on board that can generate new business and close deals. Requirements: What you bring to the team

  • Must live in the Los Angeles area and be able to meet in-person with potential clients
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales or related B2B demand generation experience
  • 3-5 years of cold calling B2B sales
  • Prior sales or marketing experience with technology solutions in a consultative sales role or environment (Prior MSP experience would be great!)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and ability to perform basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
  • Ability to generate leads through cold calls, networking, and marketing events

KPIs: Daily, weekly, and quarterly

  • Outbound and inbound call activity (75-100 activities per day)
  • Lead-generating email and social media activity (25+ activities per day)
  • Number of meetings set
  • Number of leads converted

IT Tech Support Specialist


Position: IT Tech (Field) Support Specialist

Location: Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley / Orange County, CA

At NIC, we have three levels of IT Tech Support Specialist positions:

Level 1 IT Support Tech Requirements

  • 2-3 years of recent experience in a corporate environment as an IT Tech or similar function
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills and customer service skills
  • Able to follow directions well

Level 2 IT Support Tech Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in a corporate environment as an IT Tech or similar function
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills and customer service skills
  • Able to follow directions well

Level 3 IT Support Tech Requirements

  • At least 5 year of experience in a corporate environment as an IT Tech or similar function
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills and customer service skills
  • Able to follow directions well.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • The ability to mentor and train other lower level techs when needed

All Levels of Tech Support candidates must be able to collaborate well with NIC team members such as other support techs, system admins, operations staff, and technical account managers. This is a position for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and exercise good judgment. A reliable form of transportation is a must as you will be required to travel throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

In this role, the candidate will provide remote and on-site technical support to NIC clients. Responsibilities will include deploying, maintaining, and supporting network devices and connectivity with servers, workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, operating systems, and applications as needed.

All Levels of Tech Support Candidates must meet two of the following educational requirements:

  • A+
  • Network+
  • Microsoft Solutions Certification
  • Apple Certified Support Professional
  • Other IT certifications or formal IT education

The candidate is expected to have intermediate technical skills to independently manage the following:

  • Microsoft Windows Vista/7/8 Support
  • Office 2010/2013 Support
  • Email (Exchange, Gmail, Google Apps, Office 365)
  • Active Directory user management, file and print sharing, and NTFS permissions
  • PC Hardware, Mobile Device, and Printer Support
  • Virus cleanup and Local/Online Backup Software
  • Remote Management Software (LogMeIn, Lab Tech, Rescue)
  • Network Security Hardware (Firewalls, SonicWALL, Cisco)
  • Networking Support (i.e. IPv4 addressing concepts, utilizing basic network diagnostic tools, troubleshoot connectivity, Wi-Fi, etc.)
  • VoIP
